ISO 9001
Adoption of ISO 9001 is a proven method of improving efficiency, customer satisfaction and profitability. A paper published in 2010 by the Harvard Business School reported empirical data showing benefits companies reap from ISO 9001 certification/compliance.
These benefits included:
|
ISO 14001
The International Standard ISO 14001 sets out requirements for an Environmental Management System (EMS) which can be employed by an organization to measure and document their environmental impact.
ISO 14001, if implemented properly, could serve as a valuable tool to help organizations improve their environmental performance, increase the use of pollution prevention, and improve compliance. Synergistic Systems integrates ISO 14001 processes into existing Quality Management Systems. This allows you to use existing resources to efficiently manage and maintain all your QMS processes. |
ISO 17025
ISO 17025 certified organizations can demonstrate to their customers that all calibration and test data generated meets specification and that the data will hold up under rigid examination or investigation. Customers can be ensured that technicians are trained and qualified to conduct measurements and perform tests; instruments utilized are calibrated and serviced, results are properly reported, and that all of these processes have been confirmed by an independent auditor.
Customers expect results provided by the supplier laboratory to be as accurate and objective as those conducted by an independent laboratory or at the customer laboratory. |
ISO 22000
ISO 22000 is an international standard that focuses on the needs
of organizations within the food chain. It contains traditional quality
assurance preventive measures plus preventive food-safety measures.
The purpose of ISO 22000 is to provide a practical approach to ensure the reduction and elimination of food safety risks as a means to protect consumers. The standard outlines best practices that deliver results and convey confidence to the organization as well as its stakeholders. This confidence is demonstrated by the internal audit process and, in particular, the external audit process. |
ISO 45001 is the global ISO standard for Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) which replaces the OHSAS 18001 standard. This new standard is an improvement and upgrade. Where OHSAS 18001 is a more unwieldy procedure-based standard that primarily deals with risk, ISO 45001 is a process-based standard broader in its clauses because it not only considers risks but it also looks at opportunities and the views of interested parties including workers, suppliers, subcontractors, clients and regulatory authorities in the context of the organization. Any organization that has a Safety and Health Management System that meets the requirements of the ISO 45001 standard demonstrates its commitment to the health and safety of their most valuable asset, their people. They recognize a safe workplace not only reduces loss and provides a sustainable workforce but it's just good business.
Key potential benefits from use of the standard include:
Synergistic Systems uses a proven modular system design for the implementation of the ISO 45001 processes. This proven design means as business needs evolve, our other ISO standard modules can be added to their Integrated Management System. We work closely with our Clients throughout the entire implementation process using a team approach to demystify ISO 45001 system implementation. Additionally, processes are conveniently managed from an easy to use, adaptable cloud-based application, accessible from desktops, laptops tablets or smartphones. No matter where authorized users are located, be it the shop floor, office, at home, or other location, the information they need is just a few clicks away. |
